This is first time in my life. So I was very excited condition. That was an Anaheim Angels VS Detroit Tigers game. Actually I didn’t know this team. But I was searching internet then I got many information. That game is little bored because at the 1st game, they got a 6 point.
In the end, 12-4 Anahaim angels win this game. I took a lot of pictures and eaten hot dog and drank a cup of beer. Also MLB is exciting but NHL is more exciting. Human beings live easy life after invention of air conditioners and sprays. However, animals and plants get damaged seriously by human beings. Human beings, who are also parts of nature, are selfish because we just think easiness, but not consider damage of other animals and plants. Global warming will be reduced if we use less number of air conditioners and sprays. We need to put more effort to reduce global warming even if our lives become a little bit uncomfortable. Furthermore, we should consider a counter plan not to loose a habitat of animals and plants caused by the global warming.

Journal Entry #10

There are many great beaches in California. I have been Huntington Beach, Long beach and Corona Del Mar beach. I didn’t go to beach many times but I think Corona Del Mar beach is not a great place for me. The first, I enjoy the surf boarding. But there are no waves because there has a breakwater. Second, there are too many people on the beach. So, there are very confusion and little noisy. Finally, if you don’t have a car, you can feel inconvenience to go. Almost ALP student ant to go to the beach, but most of student hasn’t a car. And we can’t go when we used public transportation. Also Corona Del Mar beach is beautiful, but I think Huntington Beach is better. That’s just my opinion.

Journal Entry #9

My Hero

Most people have a hero. Of course I have a hero too. I met him 10 years ago by accident. He is a mountain climber. His name is Um Hong Gil. At that time I didn’t know him, but now I look up to him. First, he successfully climbed 16 of the highest peaks in the world. There is Himalayas. When I was young, I was very weak. So I follow my father that mountain climb every weekend. At that time I met him. He is shorter than me. So I think he is also weak. But it was wrong. He is a very famous mountain climber and he is captain of mountain climb team in Korea. At the time, I didn’t know that so I felt ashamed. Second, he is very humble person. He has many followers and he is rich. And he never talks about his accomplishments. Third, he can speak 5 languages. He can speak Chinese, English, Spanish, French, and Mongolian. It’s amazing to me. In conclusion, he is my hero and I want to be like him.

Journal Entry #7

1. In my country, we have Independent Day of Korea. Korea's Independence Day is the fifteenth of August. I think that the most memorable event in Korea history is an “independence from Japan”
Korea had been a colony of Japan for 30 years. During under reign of Japan, Korea was deprived basic rights such as using native languages and letters by Japan.
2nd world war was ceased with surrender of Japan at August 15, 1945. And Korean government was established at August 15, 1948.
In 1949, Korean government decided that August 15th was a national holiday
In this day, most Korean spends in piety. But here is more enjoyed holiday.

Journal Entry #5

I think July 7, 2007 is not special day.
